Malika Blessing Talks About Her Journey in Hollywood on Fox Soul TV’s ‘The Mike and Donny Show’ and Talented Actors Richard T. Jones & Michael K. Williams Also Guest Appear On The Popular Talk Show

Actress Malika Blessing appears on Fox Soul TV’s ‘The Michael and Donny Show,’ cohosted by Mike Hill and Donny Harrell, along with fellow actors Richard T. Jones (Why Did I Get Married, The Wood, The Rookie) and Michael K. Williams (The Wire, Hap and Leonard, When They See Us), Tuesday, May 19, 2020.

The Mike and Donny show on Fox Soul TV is a hard hitting, no nonsense show that has real talk about the mindset behind some of the decisions black men and women make in their life. Currently, guests on the show are interviewed via Zoom due to COVID-19.

Blessing considered as one of the most talented actresses in ‘tinsel-town,’ shares about her journey in Hollywood and surviving domestic violence on the show.

A ‘multi-tasker’ by nature, Blessing also talks about wearing many hats and her incredible rise, as a successful actress, producer, director, production manager and casting director. She is quick to say, “her first love is acting.”

Blessing who grew up in Oakland, California guest starred in the Tyler Perry-produced “The Haves and the Have Nots,” airing on OWN.

Her stellar acting work on screen and stage coupled with her unparalleled work behind the scenes with some of the industry’s biggest names is what makes her an invaluable asset.

Ms. Blessing has also starred in Don B. Welch’s The Lost Souls Cafe on TV One and as the lead in the horror film Grim Weaver, coming out on Amazon Prime this month. By popular demand, she returned in Don B. Welch’s acclaimed stage production “Bachelorette Party.”

Her work as a guest star in the hit Web series I Hate My Co-Worker produced by Vintage City Entertainment netted her the ‘Best Comedic Actress’ at the LAWeb Festival and won’ Best Dramatic Actress in Tammi Mac’s Bag Lady Web Series.’ She also was nominated for a NAACP Theater award for best supporting actress.

Blessing is the producer for the hit “One Man Show Michael Colyar’s Momma” and NAACP award winning one woman show, Tammi Mac’s Bag Lady.

Malika Blessing holds a Master’s Degree in Theater Arts from Grambling State University.
