Johnny Jenkins, II, known as Jawn Jawn is a 16-year-old Christian hip-hop artist and host of his own You Tube channel – truly one of a kind!

Never one to keep himself in a box, musically or academically, known as Jawn Jawn moves one way – in excellence.
When asked to share his thoughts of what music means to him, Jawn Jawn says, “Music means a lot to me. It is a way to express and release my emotions.”
“I love music that on top of the fun beats, it can carry a message that relates to real life situations.” “Music is a nice thing you can listen to when you want to get out and just go into your own world, he adds.

He also says, “Music should definitely uplift, inspire and make you feel good.” Born in Los Angeles, California and raised in Mesa, Arizona, the 2020 high school cum laude graduate from Perry High School in Gilbert, Arizona speaks fluent Spanish. He was a member of the National Spanish Honor Society at his high school and recognized with a special “honor cord” during his high school graduation.

Jawn Jawn believes in education. The college-bound honor student recently accepted a scholarship to Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University and plans to attend the prestigious university in the fall.

His parents, Lolita and John Jenkins always knew both of their children were high achievers at a young age. He started high school at the age of 13 and his sister, Lauren at 12 who is starting her Senior year at Arizona State University is only 19 years old.

Inspiring millennials everywhere with his style of music, Jawn Jawn creates his own lane when he releases music. The talented musical genius’ fan base continues to grow. His songs released on SoundCoud and streaming platforms has caught the attention of music lovers everywhere and includes such hits as Back with a Vengeance, I’m Different, Corona Can’t Hold Me Back, Bam! and We Ain’t The Same.
