Cory’s unexpected departure has left a void in the music industry, and in the hearts of all who knew him.
James Wright, fellow and founding member of SENSERE, expressed his deep grief, saying, “There would be no SENSERE without Cory. He was my best friend, the guy who kept me together in the early years of the group, like an older brother. I met him right after high school, and his musicality was top-notch. Cory was not just a talented musician but also a genuinely shy, humble, and kind person. His entire family has a rich tradition of music, and his father is a respected pastor. Cory’s legacy in the music world will continue to inspire us all.”
