One of the most thrilling experiences was a private tour of the captain’s bridge. Standing in the heart of the ship and watching the crew manage this impressive vessel was awe-inspiring! Next, I took a tour of the kitchen, where I witnessed the extraordinary talent and skill behind each meal served on board. Sampling the delicious creations made by the ship’s culinary team gave me a new appreciation for the art of cruise dining.
A Delightful Discovery in Nassau, Bahamas
During our stop in Nassau, I met a former chef from Carnival who now heads a popular restaurant on the island. Dining at his restaurant was a highlight of my trip—the food was exquisite, and the flavors were unforgettable. Connecting with him and hearing his story made this stop extra special.
Trivia Fun and Surprising Challenges
As a Golden Girls fan, I couldn’t resist participating in the Golden Girls trivia, along with an 80’s music trivia event. It was both humbling and hilarious—I didn’t know as much as I thought I did! These lighthearted games brought laughter and gave me a chance to meet fellow passengers who shared the same nostalgic love for these classics.
Exploring Key West in Style
Exploring Key West in a rented golf cart was one of the most fun ways to see the island. Cruising around at my own pace, I got to take in the sights, soak up the sun, and feel the island’s vibe. It was a refreshing and exhilarating way to explore.
A Personalized and Luxurious Experience
Carnival Liberty’s hospitality made me feel like the star of the show. With snacks and thoughtful gifts delivered daily to my suite, the experience felt tailor-made. Every officer was kind and welcoming, treating me with exceptional warmth and care.
Entertainment director Olivia was a standout with her generosity and charm, while Head Chef M. Wisdom personally visited my table each night to make sure my meals were perfect. The hospitality director kept my suite pristine, and every crew member assigned to my suite went above and beyond to make my stay memorable.
