A powerful and transformative event focused on mental health and wellness is coming to Fredericksburg, Virginia — and the entire community is invited to be a part of the healing.
On Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, RISEUP FXBG will take place at 5012 Southpoint Parkway, offering a free day of hope, healing, and connection. Presented by Dr. Matthew Rosario in partnership with A & B Creative Events, this event is rooted in the belief that healing begins in community, and that conversations around mental health must be inclusive, empowering, and accessible to all.
The event will feature five dynamic speakers, each sharing heartfelt stories, expert knowledge, and practical tools for navigating mental health challenges. These powerful talks will be complemented by interactive workshops designed to equip attendees with strategies for managing stress, cultivating resilience, and nurturing emotional wellness.
In a highlight of the day, RISEUP FXBG will also honor a local hero — someone whose leadership and service have made a meaningful impact in Fredericksburg — with the presentation of a special community grant. This celebration will shine a light on those who are quietly but powerfully changing lives and building bridges in the community.
Attendees will have opportunities to connect with licensed mental health professionals, explore local community resources, and engage in meaningful dialogue with others who care about mental wellness. A complimentary lunch will be served, encouraging fellowship and connection in a welcoming space for all.
“This isn’t just another event — it’s a movement,” says Dr. Matthew Rosario. “At RISEUP FXBG, we’re cultivating a culture where mental health is talked about openly, where people feel seen and heard, and where healing can take root and grow.”
Whether you’re seeking support, looking to support others, or simply want to be part of a powerful day of inspiration and connection, RISEUP FXBG welcomes you. Because every voice matters. Every story deserves to be heard.
