Award-winning gospel recording artist and inspirational author Trent Gaddison is turning his testimony into triumph once again with the release of his brand-new single, “Stronger.”

Known for his breakout hit “Shout It Out” and his motivational devotional You Got This – 7 Day Kickstart Into Your Next, Gaddison continues to make waves with a high-energy anthem that reminds listeners of God’s sustaining power—even in life’s toughest moments.
In this exclusive Q&A, Trent opens up about the meaning behind “Stronger,” his personal journey, and the message he hopes will resonate with every listener who presses play.
Q: “Stronger” is such a powerful and energetic track. What inspired this new single?
Trent: Life. Real life. This song came out of moments where I was weak—mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. But God stepped in, and I realized I wasn’t alone. The lyrics reflect that moment of breakthrough when you recognize you’ve made it through something that once felt impossible. That strength didn’t come from me—it came from Him.
Q: The lyrics carry a strong message about resilience and praise. What do you want listeners to feel when they hear it?
Trent: Joy. Freedom. Hope. I want people to feel like they can throw off the weight of their situation and dance again. The lyrics say it’s okay to swing, shout, clap, and move—because God is worthy to be praised, and sometimes praise is the path to your power. This song is my way of saying, “You made it, now let the world know.”
Q: You mention God stepping in during tough times. Can you talk about a personal moment that shaped this song?
Trent: Absolutely. There was a time when I was battling depression, anxiety, and even suicidal thoughts. I felt like I was losing myself. But through prayer and real encounters with God’s grace, I began to heal. The road was rough, but every setback became a setup for strength. “Stronger” is a declaration that even in our weakest state, God is doing His strongest work.
Q: You’ve always had a message of hope and healing. How does “Stronger” fit into your overall mission as a gospel artist?
Trent: My mission is to reach broken hearts and help them believe again. Music is my ministry, and “Stronger” is another layer of that calling. It’s not just about a catchy beat—it’s about showing people that praise and perseverance go hand in hand. If my testimony can strengthen someone else, then I’m walking in my purpose.
Q: You blend rap and traditional gospel in this track—what inspired that style?
Trent: I wanted the sound to match the message. The rap elements bring raw truth, while the gospel tones bring worship and celebration. That fusion reflects real life—it’s gritty, it’s joyful, it’s spiritual. I’ve always believed you don’t have to fit into one box to praise God.
Q: What would you say to someone going through a hard season right now?
Trent: I’d say, hold on. You might feel weak, but you’re stronger than you know. And more importantly, you’re not alone. God sees you, He hears you, and He’s got a plan for you. You don’t have to have it all figured out—just take it one step, one prayer, one praise at a time.
Q: What’s next for you following this release?
Trent: More music is coming! I’m also working on new material for my next book, and continuing to serve through ministry and events. Every platform I have is going to be used to encourage, uplift, and strengthen others. That’s the season I’m in—and I’m grateful for it.
With “Stronger,” Trent Gaddison proves once again that his music is more than a sound—it’s a source of strength. Raw, real, and faith-filled, the song captures the spirit of someone who’s walked through the fire and come out praising.
Whether you’re in the valley or standing on the mountaintop, “Stronger” is a reminder that with God’s grace, you can rise, rejoice, and keep moving forward.
