Singer Tanya Nolan, the R&B Billboard charting and multi-genre artist and successful Texas entrepreneur, gave holiday cheer to families across her home state this Thanksgiving.
The celebrated Texas native who was born and raised in Galveston and now resides in Houston provided over 2,000 turkeys to families in need for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Nolan distributed the turkeys across both locations within the Galveston and Houston areas.
This included her two childcare centers, Aww Better Child Care Center in La Marque, Texas which is known as one of the largest and most trusted childcare centers in the region, and Nolan’s Child Care Center in Galveston, Texas.
Nolan is known for her powerful voice, Billboard success, and multi-genre versatility.
She is equally respected for her dedication to her community.
In 2024 the City of Galveston honored her by establishing Tanya Nolan Day, an annual celebration recognizing her philanthropy, business leadership, and artistic contributions.
This Thanksgiving effort showcased Nolan’s commitment to uplifting Texas families and bringing joy to households during the holiday season.
“Giving back is a blessing. Galveston will always be home, and serving my community is part of my purpose,” said Tanya Nolan.
“The holidays remind us to be grateful, to love one another, and to make sure families feel supported. I am honored to do my part.”
As a successful entrepreneur who owns two of the region’s most respected childcare centers, Nolan continues to be a pillar of generosity and service in both Galveston and Houston.
